Mike is a Chartered Facilities Management Surveyor with over 30 years’ experience in the property/construction industry. Having trained initially as a Quantity Surveyor he subsequently obtained a Masters degree in Property Development / Project Management and latterly, on joining BWA in 1988, became involved in facilities management consultancy. He is therefore uniquely qualified to advise clients at every stage of the building life cycle.
Born in Florence on 8 December 1952 Riccardo has a doctorate in Computer Science and qualified for 2 state funded research projects for Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery. Lecturer at the Master for Enterprise Information Systems at Pisa University, member of the Italian Association for Artificial Intelligence and of the Italian Association for Banking Planning. He is a Data Mining and Business Intelligence specialist and worked as a director for NCR, Teradata and AT&T in several countries in Europe and in USA. He founded TALENT srl, a consulting company developing Sales and Marketing prototypes, applications and analysis services, data warehouse and data mining based for the banking industry.
Paul was the Strategic Development Manager at the London International Financial Futures Exchange (LIFFE), where he was responsible for the research and definition of new specialist swap and risk transfer contracts. Prior to this, he was Head of Interest Rate Product Development with responsibility for the maintenance of the existing product range and the development of new products. He began his career with Ernst & Young and Grant Thornton as a tax specialist, before moving into corporate treasury management at Royal Mail where he was project leader for a treasury and risk management group. In this role he developed risk management protocols and procedures for the use of derivative products. He was responsible for recommending the optimal combination of product types and features for a wide range of situations.
